Fox Saturn Flipper FX-551 G10B Black is a folding knife designed by Denis Simonutti and made in Maniago, Italy. The blade has a symmetrical dagger shape and is made of N690Co steel with a hardness of 58-60 HRC.
The black stonewashed finish resists scratches and wear. The handle is made of black G10, a light and very strong material, and the clip is bronze anodised aluminium.
It opens with the flipper and locks with the Radius Lock, the patented locking system invented by Simonutti himself.
The blade is sharpened on only one side of the dagger.
The knife comes with artisan hand sharpening and FREE custom engraving.

The story of the model
The Saturn was presented at Blade Show 2021 in the United States, where it won two awards: Overall Knife of the Year and Imported Knife of the Year. Since then it has been one of the most famous Fox Knives models.
The designer is Denis Simonutti, born in Maniago in 1986, who has worked in the knife world since 2010. He is the inventor of the Radius Lock. With the Saturn he sought a perfectly symmetrical shape, in which looks and locking function go hand in hand.
The Flipper
This version adds flipper opening, much requested by enthusiasts. A light press on the lever opens the blade quickly and smoothly. The lock is still the Radius Lock: to close, press the button.
Blade and handle
N690Co is an Austrian stainless steel with cobalt. It holds its edge for a long time, is easy to resharpen and resists corrosion well. The black stonewashed finish makes the blade resistant to the marks of daily use.
The G10 handle is a laminate of fibreglass and resin: light, stable and resistant to water and temperature changes. The bronze anodised aluminium clip adds a touch of colour to the knife.
Fox Knives
Fox Knives was founded in 1977 in Maniago, in the province of Pordenone, Italy’s knife town, by Oreste Frati. It has become one of the best-known Italian pocket knife brands in the world and works with Italian and international designers. All production is still made in Italy.
